Dr. Young J. Seo, PhD, CHT, NBCCH

Psychologist Dr. Seo received a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle Washington and is a Clinical Hypnotherapist from National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists (NBCCH). She also worked on the research project—students with learning disabilities adjusting to their social life after graduating from high school. Dr. Seo published the results in the Journal of Learning Disabilities (Seo et al., 2008, vol . 41, p300-314), which made a positive impact on students with learning disabilities.
Dr. Seo received a Master’s degree in Teaching from Evergreen State College, Olympia Washington and worked with special needs students as a special education teacher in K-12 system. Dealing students with Learning Disabilities (LD), severe emotional/behavioral problems, and children with autism, she had a chance to observe the human mind, body and soul connection.
In addition, Dr. Seo has a Physical Therapy training, which led to a keen understanding that the status of the mind impacts directly on bodily functions and vice versa.
Dr. Seo also had taught Psychology and Human Anatomy courses at colleges in Washington State.
As her understanding in mind, body, and soul connection grew stronger she become a hypnotherapist and a counselor in Washington state to help people in depth to find their path to fulfill their life enhancing joy & happiness.
Dr. Seo is very interested in and aware of the mind's impact on health, happiness, & successes in life.
